3rd Edition of The Pilgrim’s Progress fully conserved

In 2013 the museum was successful in obtaining a grant from the AIM (Association of Independent Museums), to have the 3rd Edition of The Pilgrim’s Progress fully conserved (see photos below). This work took all year, with the book travelling across the country to book and paper conservators, and was also completely digitised. The book is the oldest edition of The Pilgrim’s Progress in the collection.
